A regular group plays from 9.30 to 11.30 every Tuesday at the courts on the 5th floor of the Great World Carrefour Building on Xinguang Lu. The charge is 15 rmb per person. For more information please contact Xiao Hong at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parents with children ages 0-4 join us Mondays or Wednesdays for fun and friendship. The groups go on child friendly outings in and around Chengdu and alternates playing at different member’s homes. Participants are welcome to lead activities and host the group. Please email Amy at email@example.com to find out more information and get involved.
Drop in to craft or just chat! Everyone is welcome and no prior experience is necessary. The CIC Craft Group meets on Wednesday morning 10:00 -12:00 at Tianfu International Community. We usually sew, knit or crochet, but try other handcrafts as well. We will take a break after the meeting of June 8th and resume on August 25th.
Daytime Book Club
The Bookclub meets monthly, usually on the second Tuesday of the month at 12.30 and includes a light lunch. Venue will change depending on host. After the summer holiday, the next Bookclub will be held Tuesday, September 6th.
German Speakers Group
The German speakers group meets once a month for breakfast or lunch.

Chengdu Diners’ Club
The Diner’s Club is for anyone who loves gathering around a table to enjoy food and good company. Exact Dates for upcoming programs are still tentative but please email if you have interest in attending as a couple of the programs have limited capacity.
- JULY Day trip to the countryside with Chengdu Food Tours as we learn about local food customs, enjoy the fresh air and help prepare a meal made from ingredients gathered that day. (Limited to 8 participants)
- AUGUST Join us at a local restaurant to learn about what make Sichuan cooking so delicious. The Chef will lead us through several dishes as we gain a foundation in the ingredients and technique that go into our favourite dishes.
- SEPTEMBER Enjoy an evening of Wine, fondue and a movie at La Cave.
- OCTOBER/NOVEMBER Learn about Pickling and infusing in hands on workshops with local experts. (Space is limited)
